Baby Victor

I know that I have been absent from posting for a couple of weeks ... but I am working on a project that is taking ALL of my free time at the moment. I will HOPEFULLY be done with this project in next 2 weeks and then I will catch everyone up on the ends and outs of October.... But I just wanted to post some pictures of Baby Victor. He was born today at around noonish ... 7 lbs 1 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. Caroline and Victor are doing AMAZING!!! Here are some pics... enjoy!!!!

A sunday with friends

On Sunday we had some friends over for a cookout and to watch the Cowboys game. Well the plan was to watch the game but ... we played with the kiddos instead (which from what I understand was much better than watching the beating we took). Anyway ... so we cooked out, played and had a great time. The weather was just perfect so we put the bounce house up and the kids loved it.

This was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday!!! Payton just loves playing with her friends and we love playing with their parents!!!

Girls Night Out

In honor if Liz's new job ... we decided to have a girls night out. We started the evening off at Mi Cocina's ... yummy Mambo Taxis!!!! We had a great time ... Chatting and laughing on the patio. After Mi Cocinas we ventured off to some other bar ... I don't remember the name of the place but they charged $6.00 for a bottle of Miller Lite ... can you say RIP OFF!!!! Anyway ... I had such a great time with these girls tonight and I can't remember when I laughed so hard in a public place. People must have thought we were just plain drunk!!! Thanks for the great night ladies .... it was a BLAST!!!! Congratulations Liz on the new job!!!!

State Fair of Texas

Every year we make it a priority to go to the State Fair. This was actually Nicks and I first date ... and we even went the day after we were married. Anyway ... we headed out for a wonderful day of Midway games, rides, car show, and of course ... CORNEY DOGS!!!!! The weather was perfect ... and Payton was so excited to get to ride some rides this year. She did the log ride, cars, and we did the fun house. She wanted to ride everything ... but since is she favors her Grandma Briant ... she is too short to ride most of them. We had a wonderful day ... I just love the fair!!!!!

She picked to be the Sheriff ... I guess her Daddy is wearing off on her!!!!

Arboretum!!!

Today I decided to take Payton to the Arboretum for some Fall Pictures. I usually have a photographer do them ... but this time, I decided to do it myself. I LOVE my new camera and I thought I might has well get my money out of it. So Payton and I headed out ... we went by ourselves so that she would give me all her attention. Usually we go out there with a big group of moms and her friends ... so she never wants to sit for pictures. Anyway ... I will say that it was a total success!!! Here are some of them ...
