This is not exactly a true statement but it is pretty funny .... and it got our little town on National TV ... hehehehe

Alex's Nursery --- 90% done!!!!!

Here is Alex's Nursery ..... We still need the lightbar which will go on the bare wall over the dresser and I need to get curtains and the changing pad cover. Other than that ... its done!!!! We love it and are so proud its done so early!!!!

Baby Alex's Letters

So I spent all day working on the letters for the Nursery ... and they are now done!!! The bedding is Red, Blue and light blue and the walls of the nursery will be painted the light blue....

Bye Bye Mommy and Me Gymnastics and Hello to big girl gymnastics!!!

After a 1 1/2 years of Mommy and Me gymnastics ... its time for Payton to move up to the next class ... without me. She is getting so big and with her 3rd birthday in the next 2 weeks it was time for her go up. This is both a really exciting moment for me and a really sad one too. While I am very excited to just sit and watch her from the lobby ... I am also so sad that she doesn't need me anymore. There is nothing more surreal than realizing that she is just fine without you by her side to help and let her know what to do next. We had our last Mommy and Me class on Wednesday and her new big girl class the very next day .... She did really well in her new class and I was so shocked at how well she listened to her teacher. While I thought it would be so great to sit and watch ... I was pretty lonely out there just watching her. With all of our friends still in the Mommy and Me class, I don't even have anyone to chat with while she is in there... you guys hurry up and move up, I need you!!!!

Family BBQ at the Winters ...

The Winters hosted a family BBQ and afterwards guys poker night. They had a little pool set up for the kids outside and they grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. The weather right now is so perfect for outdoor bbq and get togethers ... and the kids just love playing together. We had such a great ... that is until the guys kicks us girls and kids out so that they could get to business and play poker. Nick came home in a great mood as he won ... so so funny that winning is a direct effect of how much fun he has. Thanks so much for having us over Harry, Jill and Ava!!!!

Memorial Day BBQ

On the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, we went over to a BBQ at our good friends Steve and Rachael's house. The weather was perfect and with their huge backyard, the kids had a blast running around and playing. They had a little pool set up and we brought over the bounce house ... and the kids just went to town. We had a great time ... Nick manage to even have a better time. He really likes the fact that I can't drink right now so he has a designated driver ... and let me tell you, he took for advantage of it today. By 10:30 pm, I was pushing him out the door and he could barely walk ... it was so so funny!!!! Within 5 minutes of our car ride home, he was snoring ... MEN!!!! Thanks so much for having us over guys!!!
