Santa picture!!!!

Yes ... we already put the Christmas tree up!!!

Payton is so excited about Christmas lights this year ... that we decided to go ahead and put the tree up for her enjoyment. She just LOVES it ... she says "Momma, look, tristmas tree ... tristmas lights ... ah ... so pretty" ... its so funny. Anyway ... I just hopes she loves christmas as much as she does the tree and the lights. Now I just have to make sure her grubby little hands stay away from my all crystal tree ... hmmm!!!!

On Sunday afternoon ... The Consers came over to hang out and for dinner. The girls started out the afternoon slow by watching a movie and then it was all about playing. They play so well together and they just love to chase each other around the house. They are super cute!!!!

Hmmm .. Cheese on the Dishwasher ....

So ... On Sunday, I was trying put the groceries away and I gave Payton a piece of cheese to munch on to by me some time to do it in peace. After getting the groceries out of the car, I walked into the kitchen to this....

All I could do was laugh ... and of course I had to take pictures. I tried to tell her not to do it again ... but I don't think she took me too seriously. But she made her artwork and then ate it off ... kinda gross ... but she was having a blast.

Happy Birthday Ava

On Saturday we celebrated Avas 2nd birthday. She had a Mickey Mouse Club House Party and we had a blast. The weather was perfect ... Not hot and not cold ... and the kids were able to run around the house and the yard to their hearts content. Since Payton had been couped up in the house for a week ... she was super excited to be able to play with her friends. Happy Birthday AVA ... Thanks for having us!!!!

My poor sicko ...

Payton was sick last week ... ALL WEEK! It started on Sunday and she didn't start feeling better until Thursday. So .. as you can imagine .. we spent the whole week inside, resting, being totally bored. I am so glad that Payton is hardly ever sick ... b/c I HATE being locked in the house. Anyway ... she was a super trooper and we made it through in one piece... and I got some cute pics. of her resting :)

Payton is just obessed with horses right now. In the car ... she asks to see them the whole time we drive... she says "Horses mom ... more Horses" and once we find some ... she claps and says "YEA" and the process starts all over again. Anyway ... she also has these toy horses that are her favorite things ... she wants to take them everywhere. They go in the car with her, sit at the dinner table with her, she even tries to take them to bed. She just loves them. The other morning when we were just sitting there playing with them ... I lined some of them up on her arm. She was so excited they were on her arm that she didn't move for almost a hour ... she didn't want them to fall off. It was so funny!!!

Happy Halloween

We spent Halloween with the Glass family this year. They came over and we ordered some pizza and then once Nick got home from work ... we headed out for some good ol' trick or treating. The girls were so funny ... we brought the wagon and they had to get into it between every house. They would get in, shut the door, pick up their drinks out of the cup holder ... and then we would walk all of 20 steps ... they would put their drinks down, open the door, get out, shut the door, get their baskets from us and then finally go up to the house. Needless to say ... it wasn't a super speedy night. Payton doesn't like candy ... Just M&Ms, so she wasn't all that interested in getting any ... she just loved to knock on the door and say Hi. After Trick or treating we headed back to the house and the kiddos got to play some ... and we had some adult beverages :). It was a great night ... I love Halloween!!!!

Magic Time Machine

We decided to take Payton to the Magic Time Machine to see if she would enjoy it. I wasn't sure if she was still too young for it and I thought she would love to see all of the decor and characters. Well ... she is way too young for it and didn't really understand any of it. We did have a great dinner and she loved the smoking bubbling drink (well she loved playing with it ... she never actually tasted it). She just didn't really even notice that the waiters were dressed up and could of cared less about the decor. Oh well ... we tried :) I think we will try again in a couple of years ...

Halloween Party

This year we our Halloween Party was a Carnival theme. We had bobbing for apples, fishing booth, duck pond, and bean bag toss. The kids had so much fun ... they LOVED the duck pond, but I am not sure if it was for the ducks or the water. I think at least 3 kids ended up in the little pool ... luckily it was warm so it wasn't bad. We also let the kids "trick or treat" throughout the house to give them alittle practice for the big day. It wasn't quite as organized as I had planned it to be ... but I guess with 2 year olds I should expect that. We had a wonderful time anyway .... The kids were also super cute in their costumes!!!

I'm Back!!!

So I know I have been out of touch for the past month or so ... I have been working on a project that well ... took at least 200 hours of my free time in the past month. It seems thats all I have done ... But ... ITS DONE!!!! I am so excited to have my free time back and I am ready for nice long night of sleep :). Anyway ... I guess its time to catch everyone up on what we have been doing when we do get out of the house. I will post stuff separately ... so it doesn't get too long ... Happy Reading!!!!
