After much debate and negotiation ... our little boy now has a name. His name will be Alexander John ... I am not a huge fan of shortening of names but I can live with Alex or AJ. I actually really like Alex as this little guys shortened name.
Payton is starting to really understand that she will be getting a baby brother and now thinks its funny to blow raspberries and tickle my stomach(that's how she plays with Alex right now). She is so cute and really like the idea of having a brother right now... lets just hope it stays this way once he arrives. :)

I have been a very very bad blogger....
So I have to admit ... I have just been lazy. I have been horrible at keeping up ... I really don't have an excuse, except that I have a 2 year old, a job, I am pregnant, yadda yadda yadda. I could make excuses all day.
But we have had some very big things happening in The Sham household these days. First I would like to say that Princess Payton is now potty trained. I thought she would never do this (6 months ago I tried and it was a disaster). Anyway ... this time it was a complete breeze., the first day she only had one accident and it got better and better from there. Needless to say ... besides at bedtime(which she doesn't potty but I don't trust her yet) we are diaper and pull up free!!!! I honestly didn't think this was going to happen for a long while ... but my girl was a star!!!!
The next big news is .... Nick and I will be having a BOY!!!!! We found out a couple of weeks ago and I was going to post some sono pictures with the annoucement but have never gotten around to it (see excuses above). Anyway ... I am stoked to be starting a little police room and even more excited that we were blessed with one of each. This is our last child and to have both a girl and a boy is amazing!!!!
Payton is starting to understand that she is going to have a little brother ... she is so funny that when I ask her where her baby brother is she says its in Paytons belly ... When I tried to tell her that its in Mommys belly ... she says no mom ... its in Paytons belly, Mommys belly and Daddys belly ... she is so so cute!!!
We are still in limbo on a name for this little guy ... we finally found one that we both like but I still have my favorite which Nick doesn't really care for. So which do you like better ...
