While in Florida, Payton had tons of "new" friends. By that I mean ... she now LOVES Frogs, Lizards, and HORSES!!!! The Horses are by far her favorite but she was just amazed about all the living "friends" she would find right outside the house ... this is nothing like home.
First were the frogs ... there were hundreds of little baby frogs (the size of a quarter) everywhere. She found them on the patio ... and it was love at first site. She would touch its bottom and watch it jump, cheer with excitement and do it all over again. It was so funny.
The next new "friend" that she discovered was the gecko ... we found one that stuck between the window and the screen and it was love at first sight. I asked Payton if it was her new buddy ... and now she thinks they are "buddies" ... We did manage to find some toy buddies at the gift shop of the butterfly exhibit we went to and she has been taking them everywhere with her telling everyone all about her buddies.
Oh and then there was the HORSES ... Oh my goodness ... you have no idea how much my child loves those horses. She was so excited that all she had to do was look at the window and the horses would be there. Payton was super excited when grandma said that she could ride one of them. Now that is all she talks about ...
