What a week this has been ......

This week has been one of a kind. I am sure its not one that I really want to repeat anytime soon ... not that it was horrible but it sure isn't the kind of week that needs to be a regular repeat. Work has been super hectic ... we are in the process of our first month end close in the new PS and let me tell you ... NOT FUN. Between working weekends and late nights ... it just seems to be all I am doing ... yuck!!! Payton has also had a new development this week ... temper tantrums, terrible twos, being a brat ... I am not sure what you call it. She is been very trying and on Friday she cried and cried big crocodile tears FOREVER and ended up making me stay home from work. I am not sure if something was wrong or if she was just so sick of me not being there at night when she goes to bed b/c of work. But I swore that I would never leave her in this state and ended up having to stay home from work ... granted it was a needed break ... but I can't even imagine what I am going to face when I get there on Monday.


This week we had two trips to the hospital to visit Caroline and Tyler, gymnastics, a play date, and a birthday party ... all on top of working 12 hour days. I am tired but yet my mind is so overwhelmed that I can't sleep. Monday and Tuesday are going to be a nightmare at work ... all I can think of is being off this next Wednesday - Tuesday for Paytons bday... which then starts another round of stress(but the good kind ... self induced)

Tomorrow we are supposed to be heading to the lake with Rachael and Steve .. but I am not sure its going to happen. Its supposed to be 25 mph winds, so the lake will be way too rough for the boat and when Nick tried to put the jet ski in the water today to take it to the marina ... it wouldn't start.....grrr. This happens every year ... that damn jet ski ... it never starts the first time we put it in the water and we have to take it into the shop ... and its usually something really stupid.

Anyway ... enough ranting about the busiest of our lives ... it could be worse!!! We could have no job, no child, no jet ski, no friends to have play dates with .... and that would be no good and I would not have anything to blog about or anyone to read it :) ....
