Dinner out ... Yes I said out (as in a resturant)!!!!!

Last night we met The Scowdens out for a nice relaxing dinner. We brought the DVD player for the girls to watch ...yes, I am one of those parents. We had a nice 2 hour dinner and the girls were simply wonderful. They just sat there playing with their toys we brought them and watching the Dora, The Wonderpets, Gabba Gabba, etc.


Since we are not able to be at Ellie's birthday celebration this year, we decided to surprise Ellie with some cupcakes and a little birthday party of our own. I bought sprinkles and M&Ms and the kids decorated their cupcakes and we got to sing Happy Birthday to Ellie.


We had a wonderful time with great company .... we need to do this more often!!!!
