Baby Alex

We did the 3/4 D Sonogram of Alex a couple of weeks ago ... and I just never posted them. He is so cute ... and when we got home we compared his pics. to that of Paytons and they look very similiar, with one exception ... Alex is much bigger!!!! They are estimating that he is going to be a 9-10 lb baby as of right now ...

Payton loved seeing her baby brother for the first time ... and now she thinks that she can look into my belly button and see him all the time ... its so funny!!!

Gymnastics - first evalution

Payton has been in "Big Girl" Gymnastics for about 2 months now and she had her first evaluation yesterday. She really loves this class and has learned so much in the last 2 months as compared to when we did the mommy and me gymnastics. Anyway ... here are her first results ... I think she did amazing!!!! My little girl rocks!!!!

Update on baby Alexander ...

Well ... here we are ... less than 10 weeks till little AJ will make his appearance into this world. I am so excited for him to finally get here but alittle sad that its going so quickly. This is the last time I am going to be pregnant ever ... and to know that I will never feel this little being growing inside my belly after him ... makes me sad. Although it doesn't make me sad enough to do it again :)

Anyway ... AJ is very big baby right now ... measuring alittle over 2 weeks later than he should. They said that his thigh bone is very long too ... so at least he will be long and big. hehehe. As of last week they were estimating his weight at 3.6lbs. I think about 2 1/2lbs is average.

If all goes well ... I will having the c-section on 9/21/09 ... just about 2 months from day. Wow ... crazy to think about!!!!

I will be having a 4D sonogram next week and I promise to finally put up some pictures of our little guy!!!

Happy Birthday Savannah!!!

To celebrate Savannahs 3rd bday ... they had her party at My Gym. Payton loves these type of places and always has a blast just running around with her friends. This time she found some new things to try out ... the money bars and rock wall. I never thought that she would be able to do either of them ... but like always, she proved me wrong. The rock wall was by far her favorite thing at the gym today. After a couple of tries, she actually made it to the top ... all by herself. We were all pretty shocked to see her at the top ... but what she did next even shocked us more. She decided that the easiest way for her to get down would be to jump. Yes .. she just jumped off it. Now she is not on a huge rock wall or anything ... but I would say she was about 6-7 feet up. I just couldn't believe that she made it to the top and then just jumped. That kid of mine is going to give me a heart attack one day. After the she did it the first time ... it was all over. She would climb and jump, climb and jump ... over and over again. Once she got tired of that ... she went over to the monkey bars. She climbed up the ladder and then I watched as she proceed to make her way 1/2 way through them. I would of never thought that she would be able to even go from the first bar to the second ... but she did. Crazy crazy kid.

Anyway ... it was a great time ... she loves that place and the older she gets the more she likes it. Happy Birthday Savannah!!!!

Payton and her puppies!!!

Payton has been obsessed with puppies and stuffed animals for a while now. She sleeps with them all in her bed with her and talk and plays with them like they are real. Today she decided that they all needed to come and watch TV with her... so one by one she started to bring them out of her room. By the time she was done ... this is what we had. She lined them all up on the couch so that they could all see the TV and watch it too. She has such a vivid imagination ... and she just makes me giggle so much with her reasoning. I love that kid!!!!

Since we haven't won the lottery and can't afford a real swimming pool ... we decided to get a little family blowup pool for Payton to play and keep cool in this summer. Of course she loves it ... and thinks its fun to run and dive into it. Nick and I kinda like it too ... we can both just sit and relax in it while she plays ... which is always a bonus!!!!

Happy Birthday Jackson and Taylor!!!!

Jackson and Taylor celebrated their 3rd birthday with a backyard swimming bash. They had lots of little kiddie pools and sprinklers set up in the backyard for the kids to play in. The kids ran around to their little hearts content ... I don't even think they noticed the heat. It was a great way to start the weekend ... and when we left ... Payton took a 3 hour nap. That is music to mommys ears!!!! Happy birthday Jackson and Taylor!!!!

Swimming with friends...

Shannon and Jesse invited us over for a swimming playdate ... the kids loved the water and with this heat .... its the only thing making this summer any fun... especially outside. After swimming, a couple of us went up to Chick Fila for dinner. They were having family night and the kids got their face painted and balloon animals. The kids had a great day and it was a great way to end Paytons bday week of fun. Back to work we go tomorrow ... boo!!!!!

Payton's 1st Pedi/Mani!!!!

As Payton Bday week continues we went for pedi/manis with all the grandmas!!!! Payton just loved having all of her grandmas there with her to tend to her every whim. She has them all wrapped around her little finger ... and its so cute!!! Anyway .. we weren't sure how she was going to do at the spa, but she was perfect!!! She loved every minute of her pampering and her cute fingers and toes. She was so careful not to mess them up after they were done too ... I am so excited to now have a spa buddy ... so we will be taking many more trips to the get our toes done together in the future!!!

Payton's Birthday!!!

Our little girl is now 3 years old. I just can't even begin to describe the joy this little girl has brought us over the last 3 years. Who would of known that such a little person could make such a huge impact on your life. She is our whole world and we just love seeing the world through her eyes!!! There are many things about her that stand out at this point. She is such a little dare devil .. it has amazed me how she hasn't actually gotten "hurt" yet. She will climb on, jump off just about anything ... no matter how high it is. She is stubborn and has quite a little temper when she really wants something and either can't get it herself or is told No. She is a huge little fish ... and loves the water more than anything ... she even dives in the water head first now. She is still a very picky eater. I mean there are still only about 20 total food items that she will even attempt to taste. She is obsessed with her big girl panties and takes about 10 minutes everyday to pick out the perfect pair to wear for the day. She doesn't really care about what clothes or shoes she wears ... just want panties she has on. She loves to give kisses and hugs ... of course that always makes our day!!!! She is smart, beautiful, funny, sweet and just all around perfect. I can't imagine even for a second how our life would be without her ... she is everything to us!!!!

Anyway .. this is how we spent her actual bday ... she woke up and decided to open some presents from grandma and grandpa briant. She got lots of great books to read and then had grandma read her everyone of them ... 100 times!!!! Thank goodness grandma was here to read them and not me :)




Then she discovered all of her presents from her bday party the day before and went to town opening them all up and bugging Daddy to open every box...




She loved having her grandmas here to play with her ... and I will say its so nice to have a break from the "Mommy, read this one ..." all the time. So she played and played....



And then we did a cookie cake for her bday ... she doesn't like Cake ... so the cookie cake was right up her alley. She actually got to blow out a candle and loved being sang to again!!!

It was a great day ... I still can't believe my little girl is 3!!!!

Payton's 3rd Bday Party!!!!

This year we had Payton's 3rd Birthday party at The Colony Aquatics Splash Pad. I loved this place as you could rent it out for just your party. It had a whole splash playground and kiddie pool and the kids LOVED it. They ran around to their little hearts content and since it was a HOT day ... it was nice to have the water to help everyone keep cool. Payton had a great time playing with her friends and by the time we left there ... she was so worn out ... she asked to go to bed without even opening up her presents ....

Paytons Bday Week - Build a Bear!!!

Nick and I always take off the week of Paytons birthday and try to make the week as special as we can for her. Grandma and Great Grandma came into town to spend the week with us and our first stop was build a bear. This is one of Paytons favorite places to go. She loves to make the Dogs and Horses ... and she sleeps with every one of them.


Usually she doesn't like to dress the dogs ... but today she was so funny. She wanted to put big girl panties and shoes on her dog but nothing else. I told her that if she put undies on it ... it need clothes too, so we bought the doggie the birthday outfit and she named her birthday puppy. Once she got her new puppy dressed she decided that she needed to have a stroller for her also ... she was so cute pushing the stroller around the mall. This was a great way to start our birthday week celebration!!! Next stop was peter piper pizza for lunch!!!!
