Payton's 1st movie

So on Sunday Payton and I met up with our friends Becky and Gybson to take Payton to see her first movie. I was really not sure how she would do at the movies as she likes to watch them but.... she likes to play with toys at the same time. She isn't really a kid that just sits and watches the movie. Anyway ... I chose Hotel for Dogs to be her first movie as she LOVES movies with real dogs in them. I figured that that would be the way to go!!! So as we enter the movies ... we are walking to our theater and Payton gets so excited and starts screaming ... " Mommy mommy mommy ... TRISTMAS LIGHTS ... THRISTMAS LIGHTS. I looked at her like "What are you talking about" and she proceeded to show me the running lights in the walkway of one of the theater rooms ... I was cracking up.

So we get seated for our movie, ordered our lunch and waited for the movie to start. I brought some toys, sucker, m&ms and all to entertain in case she gets restless ... but she did great. The first 10 minutes she was not feeling the movies as there were no dogs in it yet ... but once the dogs came on ... she LOVED it. She watched the whole movie .. laughing and "arfing" right along with the dogs. After we left the movie ... she said "Mommy I loved puppy movie, can we see it again?" .... I told her to put in on her bday list. :)

So our first movie experience was a hit ... lets just hope I pick winners all the time :)
